The music of Minnesota rock band WHY NOT was the starting point for LAND OF LAKES, a work about the formation of individual identity over time in a social, physical and relational context. In this choreography, permanence and fluctuation are juxtaposed to pose philosophical questions in time and space. How do we become who we are? How do places shape us? Which traces do we leave behind, which are washed away?
